Enid High School students are invited to attend the EHS College & Career Fair on Wednesday, April 27 from 12-5 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, located at 611 W. Wabash. In addition to hosting all EHS students during the school day, area schools, homeschool groups, and families are invited to attend from 4:00-5:00 pm.
According to Lyndsay Watts, EHS Individual Career and Academic Plan Coordinator, there are currently more than 80 colleges and local businesses confirmed to attend, with more in the works. There will also be representatives from the following military institutions: US Navy, US Army, Oklahoma Air National Guard, US Air Force, University of Oklahoma NROTC, and 71st FTW/PA-Vance AFB.
This is the first College & Career Fair day hosted at EHS in the new gym. Previous fairs have been limited to colleges and other postsecondary educational institutions. This fair is not only designed to meet student needs, but aims to meet the workforce needs of the Enid community as well.
