MISSION AND GOALS

Mission Statement
Our mission is to create environments in which technologies are naturally integrated into teaching and learning, while sustaining the business functions essential for the management of the Enid Public School District.

GOALS:
Training Programs

  • Training programs will be developed around analysis of problem areas and need in the district, specifically around technology offerings and usage.
  • Continual Training For All Employees
  • Application Training For All Employees

Support

  • Create an Instructional Technology Organization to Support the Implementation of Instructional Technology.

Support Team

  • Establish a collaborative “support team” that will address the technical support needs of the district in a consistent and effective manner.

Software Standards

  • Establish and support a process to select, collectively procure, and support instructional software.

Instructional Hardware Standards

  • Maintain a hardware standard for purchasing computers and other support technology within the district.

Communications

  • Support of the district policy concerning the district Internet site and online services will create a two-way communication system that is useful to staff, students, parents, community members, and other visitors

  • Create, Review, Maintain, and Communicate Appropriate Instructional Technology Related Policies.

Campus Technology Plans

  • Create, Maintain, and Grow A Technology Plan At Each Campus.
  • Encourage Research, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of Technology Integration within the Instructional Setting.

Technology Inventory

  • Address the inequity in technology at our campuses and administrative offices through central control of computer and peripheral procurement and deployment with planned obsolescence.
