Enid Board of Education members named the following during their June 20 board meeting:
Sam Robinson - Longfellow Middle School Principal
Mr. Robinson has served as the principal of Azle High School (TX) since 2011, accepting the position after five years as an assistant principal at the school. He was also an assistant principal for Weatherford (TX) ISD from 2002-2006. He is a former math teacher and coach.
Mr. Robinson earned his M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma and his B.S. from Oklahoma Panhandle State University. He is currently working on his doctorate at the University of North Texas.
He replaces Scott Fitzgerald, who has accepted a position as EHS assistant principal and varsity girls’ soccer coach.
Cindy Black – Enid High School Administrative Intern
Ms. Black is currently the counselor at Waller Middle School, a position she accepted in 2014 after five years as counselor at Longfellow Middle School. She is a former business teacher, English teacher and coach.
Ms. Black earned her B.S. from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and her M.Ed. from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
She replaces Matthew Loafman, who has accepted a position out of state.
Kim Brittain – Coolidge Elementary School Administrative Intern
Ms. Brittain has served as counselor of Emerson Middle School since 2008, after teaching 4th-, 5th- and 6th-grade at Coolidge for eight years.
Ms. Brittain earned her graduate and undergraduate degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She replaces Reba Gregory, who is the new principal of Adams Elementary School.
