Question: You have scheduled for the labs to be cleared later in April. When you say cleared do you mean formatted at which any and all programs will be deleted? Will we need to back up any programs that have been put on other than CCC? Please let us know.

Answer: The only program that will be cleared from the elementary labs will be the CCC software. All other programs will remain the same. All elementary schools in the district will start the next school year with Success Maker and new student user ID numbers will be assigned this spring. The IT department will eliminate as much as possible individual student key entries by importing student information (uploading) at each site from the districts central data base. During the spring of this year (MAY) teachers at each of the sites will deliver minor applications of Success Maker. This will allow teachers to learn the software program and how to apply it to improve student learning.
