This school year Enid Public Schools has taken steps to become increasingly efficient at integrating technology in the classroom.
Enid Public Schools has recently joined forces with Atomic Learning, a nationally respected provider of web-based software training.
Atomic Learning (www.atomicLearning.com) provides web-based software training for applications that students and teachers use every day. It’s supplemental learning that’s available 24/7, delivered through short, easy to understand tutorial movies.
By teaming with Atomic Learning, Enid Public Schools has the opportunity to train every educator and staff member on more than 40 of the most commonly used software applications. That means that educators and staff members can access Atomic Learning from school or home, all day, everyday.
What Is Atomic Learning
Atomic Learning’s just-in-time approach to software training focuses on answering the common questions you have when learning and using software.
Need to know how to cut and paste in Word? Want to learn how to create a web page using DreamWeaver? How about learning transitions in PowerPoint? Go to the site, type in your question, and watch a narrated movie that shows you step by step how to accomplish the task.
Atomic Learning’s library of short, easy-to-understand tutorial movies works great as an integral part of a staff development program, or as a helpful curriculum supplement. There’s even a lesson plan library right on the site.
