The Information Technology Department Completes 473 online work order request in twenty days:
The completion of over 473 work orders in less than three week is a remarkable accomplishment for our technicians. Each member of our IT Department has worked to ensure that services have been provided to every employee in our district who has requested services. I commend every member of the IT Department for their concerted efforts to insure the provision of quality services to the technological needs of this district. It will be this department’s goal to continue to provide quality responses to the districts needs within the limits of its resources. The IT Department will provide continuous support to the district mission of assisting teachers in their quest to improve the education for all students. Oklahoma Loves Technology
In early August, Oklahoma Discovery Educator Mike King partnered with Discovery Education and other companies to host an "Evening of Discovery."  Hosted by Enid Public Schools at Enid High School, over 100 teachers from Enid Public Schools and surrounding districts were treated to dinner, door prizes, and a plethora of breakout sessions.  They included the new unitedstreaming , SMART Board and Promethean, eInstruction, Digital Story Telling with MovieMaker, and Interactive Lessons.  "Technology has opened so many new doors for educators," said Mike King, EPS information technology director. "Having the equipment is just the first step. We want to assist teachers as they integrate the technology into their instruction. It is this process that truly connects learning to the future."  Check out the Enid news article here. Way to go Mike!
